Real life updates 7/15/12

Well as you can tell by the title this about my real life. Yesterday I went to the pet store to look for new turtle food and saw they had leopard geckos, Which is funny because just recently I have been obsessed with them and I asked my mom if I could get one a week ago. Well I asked my gram if I could get one and she said I would have to talk to my mom, so I did. She said I could and my gram said that she would take me to the pet store to get it after she did some things. Last night my mom boyfriend said if I got a leopard gecko I would have to help it shed, well I looked up if I had to and asked the person at the pet store and they said leopard geckos are very easy to take care of and that we don't have to help it and that the shed skin will come off when its ready to come off. My moms boyfriend tried to talk me into getting a bearded dragon but it was too big and the baby ones were $85.00 for just the dragon so my gram said no I am not getting a bearded dragon. So instead I got a Leopard gecko which was $45.00 which is the cheapest I've seen so far. We bought it a heat lamp and live food. (crickets and meal worms) We had to buy the crickets a container (one of the special ones just for the crickets) Altogether the cost was $98.00.

My other pets are doing wonderful also. My turtle is alive and healthy, he loves to wonder around outside. The bad thing that happened was my moms boyfriends kids took him out of his thing and left him on the couch. my moms boyfriend found him inside the couch ( I was away when this happened) The fish is alive and well and so is my frog.
