How it became Chapter 2

I watched him leave the cave in shock. I turned my attention back to my two sons and daughters. They were so beautiful and I would always love them. I lay there letting them nurse while I rested. When I woke up the pups were whining. A hunter walked in with a deer in their mouth. They set it down beside me.
"I thought you may need to eat." She smiled
I smiled back "Thanks,I was getting hungry."
She dipped her head "Your welcome."
She turned around and walked out of the den. I sighed and took a bite of the carcass. When i was full I fell asleep with the pup's nursing. I didn't notice my mate come in and lay beside me, Giving my sons and daughters baths. He woke me up slightly, I looked at him.
"What are their names?"
"Oh...their names are Sali, aveir, kami, and cray." I said yawning
"What wonderful names my dear. Now go to sleep you need the rest." he said licking my cheek.

3 months later......
I woke up at dawn and looked around the cave. My mate and pups were gone,so I walked out of the cave. The wind rustled my fur as it went past me. I looked in the distance and saw reso and my pups. I smiled he must be teaching them how to hunt. I walked over to them with a smile on my face.
"Good morning dears."
"Good morning mommy!" they all said at the same time.
"Good morning dear. I was just teaching them how to hunt."
I licked his cheek "Its fine with me."
he smiled as I sat down to watch them. I saw a figure run towards us. It was the pack's patrol member.
"Sir! Sir! The neighboring wolves are headed our way!"
"Renala bring the pups back to the den and stay there! You will be safe. Now go!"
I nodded and gathered my pups and ran to the den. When we got to the den I told the pups to get in the back of the cave. I was so scared that I was trembling. I heard someone walk in the room chuckling.
"Hello renala."
"W-Who are you?"
"You think I will tell you?"
"You better tell me!" I growled
"Oh and what if I don't?"
" My mate will rip you to shreds!"
"Your mate wouldn't hurt another pack member." he snickered
I looked at him in fear as he got closer to me. He lifted up his and at that moment I blacked out.......
